The installation Hex was initiated in Winter 2001 during a residency at HWW in Rotterdam, Holland. The installation is comprised of six projection screens (1.5 x 3 m. each) made of fabric and resin, with the projection of three sync video channels (DVD) and 5.1 surround sound. Hex find its source in minimalist design, as well as the fascinating and strange world of nanotechnology, as a presentiment of future ecology. This experimental works propose that it is in the observation of nature that lie the technological solutions (recycling, bionics, green architecture, sustainable design) to environmental problems. The work is articulated around the shape of the Hexagon, represented as a symbol and a structural system... a type of imminent trajectory of matter in transformation and its imperceptible changes, from the molecular reality of carbon to the global planetary perception of the observer.ion Hex was initiated in Winter 2001 during a residency at HWW in Rotterdam, Holland.
